Well, I wasn't disappointed! A brilliant time yesterday evening in a packed Clent Parish Hall, courtesy of Dark Horses - Flossie Malavialle & Keith Donnelly - who were in superb form. Do check out the link on Flossie's website to sample the treats their combined musical talent serves up. Oh, and of course, we laughed our heads off at Keith's antics. Irrepressible!
Thanks again to Howard Lowry for organising the gig, Derry Jones for the sound and everyone else who worked hard to make it a success. I was delighted to have some friends with us, including many from the Woodman Folk Club who joined in with my songs. Cheers folks! :-)
Also, thanks to a warm and generous audience who bought a number of CD's. I've now raised over £950 for Primrose Hospice, so nearly reached my original target of £1K. Marvellous!
Finally, it was also rather special to be able to perform 'Ernest & Elias' on Armistice Day itself. You might like to pause for a couple of minutes and reflect by listening to it here. (Simon Bower on cello.)
So, feeling grateful for the generosity of others - expressed in so many ways.
